PIPING FLEXIBILITY ACCORDING TABLE E-8 OF API 650

Dear all,

I have a question about the piping stress of the pipes of a new tank.

The desing of the tank is according API650 11TH AD3, with the stress of the pipes we have found out the local stress of the tank nozzles, but the displacements of the pipes are lower that table E-8.

I understand that if we have calculated the piping stress, it's not mandatory table E-8, is it??
