1.What is the best way to learn about piping materials?
and how their material specification works? for example: ASTM 333 Gr.6,SMLS, SCH 80 or ASTM A106 Gr.B,SMLS,SCH 80.
2.how CSA,SAE,AISI,ASME & ASTM works for issuing specifications for steel.
Appreciate for your help.
My best regards.

kkddkk,

1.What is the best way to learn about piping materials?

Get some piping design reference books and read them. Do a search in the Piping forum on "books". Look for "The Piping Guide" by Sherwood, and "The Piping Handbook", edited by Nayyar.

2.how CSA,SAE,AISI,ASME & ASTM works for issuing specifications for steel.

Learn about the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)

ANSI organizes the Code and Standard writting activity in the USA. ANSI assigns the development of Codes and Standards to other organizations like ASME (piping, pressure vessels and boilers). The American Society for Testing and Materials writes standards for many steel products that are used in Piping, Pressure vessels and boilers.
