Hi all
I am working on a problem in which piping Vibration loads are coming on to the Equipment. I need to perform the FEA analsysis to check the adequacy of the design if the design would be able to sustain the vibration loads for the design life. Can someone guide me how to perform the same in Ansys workbench and the design codes I must adhere to.

When it comes to codes I think that you should start from ASME OM3 code. Of course ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code may be useful too.

And when it comes to FEA, you will have to start from modeling this system using shell elements possibly. Then, assuming linear dynamics approach, extract its natural frequencies so that you can use them in mode superposition based simulation. You will have to decide whether you need results in time or frequency domain. It’s also important to determine the type of applied excitation. It can be regular harmonic load, response spectrum or PSD curve for instance.
