Hello,

i have to initialize a function or a force, which moves a piston from the right to the left an back. The piston is connected with a return spring.

Demands on the function:

the piston should move for a certain way, stay in this position for some seconds. Then it goes back, because of the return spring.

Thanks for your help!

Yes that should be possible in ADAMS. Draw the force required out as a function of time, then crete an SFORCE statement to generate that force on the piston.

Cheers
