PLA technology and film production

Hello everyone. I would like to Know if i have to change my blown film extruder line or screw , so i can produce PLA plastic film. I have already changed one of my extruders for the production of starch plastic film. i read somewhere that you can use PLA without change your equipment or screw and that it works fine with HDPE lines as well but with shorter neck. Is this true?
