Place and size Datum plane

Hi,I am using NX 8.5 64 bit win 7 and I would like to know how I can create a new datum plane on say a 3" inch solid cube,on one face obviously,
and then re size the datum plane to 4"X4" inch.I can do all that but what if I wanted to take the bottom left corner of the plane and place it at the center of the
square face and still keep it 4"X4". I tried the Move and thought I could achieve it this way but I can not snap to the plane,(would be nice to be able to snap
to the midpoint or end points).The re size plane command is fine you can click on the corners and midpoints then enter the plane rectangle size but that is it, what about absolute
XY co ordinance for each corner wouldn't that be a better way to specify your plane position?

Why are you trying to 'move' a Datum Plane?

What you're seeing on the screen is only a 'symbolic' representation of what is an infinite object (a Datum Plane, by definition, has NO boundaries or edges). Therefore there's nothing to be gained by 'moving' a Datum Plane other than a visual effect. It would have no impact whatsoever on the behavior or usefulness of the Datum Plane.

Yes,it is just a visual for me, I understand the plane has no boundaries but it would be nice if it would stay symmetrical to a given point.
If I click on one of the handles and enter say 2"X 2" it would be nice to move it to a reference point so that design and engineering type people can set up multiple planes with a certain
say all the same exact size and place them where they want and give them whatever colors like any other object in NX.No it is not a big huge deal nor will it severely disturb my modeling but just saying
a little more control over the plane placement would be welcome.Forget about me trying to move a plane it was just an attempt to move it where I wanted, I do not move planes on a regular basis.

Even if you moved/resized a Datum Plane, the only ones that will likely remain the same size are 'Fixed Datum Planes'. Datum Planes which reference geometry or some other object, like another Datum, may or may not change in apparent 'size', without any real control by the user, whenever the referenced object(s) are modified or moved.
