Plan 7332 water as fluid in pump 1

I really appreciate if someone can confirm the type of water I must use for this plan.
The acceptable quatities of the following elements in water are:
Maximun Amount (ppm)
Hardness of water ?????
Chlorides in water ?????
Sulphates in water ?????
Dissolved Solids in w ?????

Natalhi: 3 grains of dissolved solids is a rough rule of thumb I use but so much depends on the application and temperature the flush water might reach. Other important factors are pressure and materials of construction. At elevated temperatures solids will precipitate out of the flush water and chlorides will attack some stainless steels. Your seal or pump manufacturer should have a recommendation if they properly researched your application before selling you a seal.

The kind of water really depends upon the application and the kind of seal you plan to use. Actually a Plan 32 doesn't really have to be water, just some process compatible fluid that meets the criteria to keep seals happy- cool and clean.

Most 32s are used to control solids within the seal chamber, some to control the kind of fluid or the temperature of the fluid in the seal chamber. Obviously the quality of the injected fluid depends upon the use.

Don't forget that there is a cost with this flush plan- you dilute slightly the process fluid and you have to process the fluid you inject into the seal chamber.
