Plane color & Locking toolbars

Is there a way to change the color of teh default planes? And also, am I the only one that is frustrated with the fact that Catia does not lock the toolbars even when told?

You're not the only one. But in their defense, I don't think this is Catia's fault. It's not the only software that does this.

Either the interface is generic, or it may possibly be a Windows issue.

You can change the color of the planes selecting them, going to Properties-Graphic-Color.

Try to search the forum for the second issue, its the same story in UNIX.

I know that I can change the planes on each part, but I wanted to make them all default to a certain color. Thank you!

The worst culprit of moving toolbars is the "View" toolbar (the one with zoom, fit, fly, etc). Undock this one (or make sure it's on the r/h end if it's docked) and you will have fewer problems. It doesn't fix everything, but they don't move quite as much.
