Hi all,

I'm modelling a steel beam and and concrete composite floor (trying to find the load deflection curves). Now that I have specified the concrete and steel inelastic strains into the material, I get this error? Anybody know what it is? I've had a look online and i tried turning NLgeom on but it hasn't changed much.

Also do i've used dynamic implicit analysis type to create a loading and unloading over time (not deflection driven), (please see the screenshots) have I used the right time step, max and min increments? etc..

Here’s what you should try:
- check what these unconnected regions are - you can do this by including unconnected_regions=yes command for datacheck submission or using eigenfrequency extraction procedure
- check all your contact and tie definitions
- decrease initial and minimum increment size
- check all your units (material data and loads)
- make sure that amplitude values multiplied by value specified in the load definition give correct load levels
- try with explicit solver
