Hello,
I would like to apply Rayleigh-Ritz Method of Minimum Energy to calculate the deflection amplitude and thus the deflection function.
Given the boundary conditions of a clamped-free-clamped-free plate the admissible functions chosen result in a deflection formula as follows:
w(x,y)=∑(n=1):A*(1-cos(2*π*n*x/a))
How can I calculate A?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Sam
