Helllo Gentlmen;

i have a clear span frame with crane and Platform at right side column as per attached.my question is under which load case to include the dead load and live of the platform?

Option No.1:to combine the dead load and live load of platform and put it under collateral load?
Option No.2:to include the platform dead load under case dead load and include platform live load under roof live load case?

Another question please Do we check frame sway for combination (DL+CLL+CRANE)?

You need to look at all potential loading scenarios - within reason. I dont know anything about this building but it seems plausible to me that at some point the platform will be fully loaded while the crane is in operation.

You don’t mention wind in your second question? Again, you have a number of sway combos to consider.

Agree with MIStructE_IRE that simultaneous loading would fall within a reasonable combination to consider. Especially if that exterior platform (I assume its exterior) is exposed to snow loads.
