I am trying to find a micro PLC or brick type PLC with an operating temperature of 70 degrees C or greater. Most manufacturer offer around 55 degrees C.
and type Controllers: Programmable Logic (PLC's) under Product or Service, which will return 106 companies to inquire about the 70°C or higher temperature rated PLC. It appears that some military specs call for this temperature rating. Therefore, you could potentially search for a PLC meeting military standards or specs.
Hi, if you find 1 its going to be very expensive. The reason is that chips are supplied in plastic packages which are rated at 70deg. You need ceramic devices to get up to 125deg C. Anything with a Mil spec is 10 times the price!
You may want to look into a vortex cooler which can be mounted on the outside of the PLC enclosure. They are inexpensive, and operate on an air supply. They do however use quite a bit of air. George Griggs

Vortex coolers are good to cool down some non electrical equipment. But if you use it to cool your control panel I would make sure you had a very good air dryer system. If you do not, then the water will cause your PLC to short out along with your other electrical equipment. If you must cool your control panel then look into buying a Kool-Tronics or some other brand. I work in a foundry and we use the kool-tronics on our control panels for Iron,Aluminum and steel furnaces.
