Hi, I am taking a test to obtain a contracting license for refrigeration, but the test is mostly boiler questions. Can anyone recommend a book or web site that would have flow diagrams for items like steam dryers, mud drain blowoffs, turbines, and any other steam applications.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If I'm not mistaken, the local junior college has courses in refrigeration, etc., and should therefore have textbooks on the topic- one place to check.

On PE exams, you can find review books that discuss the general information in the test- you might look and see if something like that is available for your particular test.

Take a look at the Babcock & Wilcox book, "Steam, its generation and use". It pretty much has everything. One word of caution - it might be a little overwhelming.

Cheers.
