Hi!
I'm doing a dynamic punching model in Abaqus. I'm using Johnson-Cook parameters (A,B,C,n,m and d1,d2,d3,d4,d5).
When I run the job, in visualization module, I can not see the elements that break in the plate's mesh due to the projectile. However, the plate is streched like a gum without fracturing.
Looking tutorials, I found a video in which someone modified the maximum PEEQ value in status variables, in Field output, in Results tab.
But if I do this, I have to choose a value for de maximum PEEQ, how can I choose the correct value? Is there another way to know which nodes should dissapear because the projectile breaks the plate?
Sorry for my ignorance about Abaqus, I'm starting with him, and sorry for my English too.
Thanks.
