Hi,
i'm using Ansys Mechanical APDL to study the mechanical behavior of a cellular structure. To model the elements that compose the structure i've used the element "Beam188" for a first analysis. I have seen in Ansys help that i can plot bendying moment in y direction and bendying moment in z direction separatly (where y and z are referred to beam local coordinate system) and the same thing is for shear stress through the command "SMISC". But i want to plot (or calcolate) the vector sum M_y+M_z to see immeditly where the beam is more stressed by bending, thing that is difficult plotting bending moments separatly.
Thanks for help.
