Hi
I am working with FRACTURE MECHANICS. Doing analysis with ABAQUS in debonded surfaces, i would like to know how to plot a curve relation between:
DISPLACEMENT and REACTION FORCES
(The same with example in ABAQUS EXAMPLE PROBLEMS MANUAL, 1.4.4 CRACK GROWTH IN A THREE POINT BEND SPECIMEN, Figure 1.4.4-3, 1.4.4-4, 1.4.4-5)
I have tried many way to plot it,but i could not find how to plot these kind of curves.

Thanks.

have you resolved your problem or do you still need help?

Hi

I still need your help, give me some keywords to solve it

Thanks

Hi

You will first need to create two curves;

1 - Displacement vs Step Time for the node in question.
2 - Reaction force vs Step Time for the node(s) in question.

Save these two curves in Viewer, the create new XY data and select to operate on XY data. You can then create a new curve by combining the data from the 2 saved curves.

See section 29.2 and 29.4 in the CAE users manual.

Hi
Thanks Bassmanjax, i did it, but i still can not get the curve after the time 1.55, because it is total time, anyway, in ex they have the curve after the time 1.55. How to deal with.

Thanks

It seems that there's a mismatch between the time of the analysis in the plots and the time in the input files.

If use the .inp files supplied with the example, you have to add new steps if you want to obtain the curve for longer times.
