Hi man, I'm looking for some software, quite easy to use, that can plot a data table of a Wavelet analisys. My great problem with some program that I found is the limit of rows in data table. Pratically I have a file of something like (x,y,z) 13 milion of rows, and at now the maximum data table, that I found works, until 65000 rows.
Do you know a program (also demo is good) that as no limit in data table lenght or has a limits up to 14 milion of rows. Thanks

I believe that gnuplot ( do this - it's limited by the amount of RAM you have to load the array.

I believe that R ( can also plot arbitrarily large numbers of points now, tho the memory handling was a bit iffy in the past (and you may have to explicitly declare how much mem you want allocated beforehand).

xgobi works well for multivariate display and handles large numbers of points well, even over a network connection.

While all the above are free software and can be made run run on Windows, they're writ for *nix OS's, prefereably Linux.

However, if you have 13 million rows, it sounds like you need to process them down before displaying them - what will 13M rows give you in a plot that 1M processed rows won't?

While I don't know your problem, this is generally the case according to better graphics experts than I - Tufte for example..

thanks very much, I haven't the time to control your suggest, however I'll do as soon.
For the problem about the number of point, infact 13M are obviusly a lot more that is needed to a good graph, the problem is that i'm using a program like a black box, and tihs is the output I have, so because one of the axis is the time is difficult to me reduce the number of pionts, with out not reduce the time precision.
