We've just upgraded the hardware and now I can't plot A0+, I only get an ordinary A0 (too short).

Has anybody an idea what it's about, I'm rather clueless when it comes to plot problems.

Thanx in advance.

When choosing a drawing size you choose A0 and in the creation diaolog you manually change the dimensions of your sheet.

I've never had problems. This is the plot queue I use:

PLRID=PLOTTER
INTEGRITY_ID=0001
DSPNM=UGIIHP
PLTVEN=HEWLETT-PACKARD
TYPE=E
MODEL=7600
SWITCHES=/2/P=2/AR/SP=XX
OUTMOD=2
COMLN=
QUENAM=\\SERVER1\PLOTTER
OUTDIR=
NPENS=8
DXBET=0
STPSZ=1016

I don't think the plot queue is the problem, feels more like UG is only sending A0 insteed of an A0+ to the plot queue. I mean there aren't many settings in the queue concerning the drawing sizes that I've seen. I don't have an A0+ options in the drafting application, where can it be set?

Adding more info.

Running UG NX1 on HP PA-RISC (c3750) with HP-UX 11 trying to plot with HP 1050C (ink jet)

What I ment is that you have to specify the sheet size the moment you creat a new sheet. The drop down menu is limited to A0, but you can manualy modify the sheet dimensions (height & length) to whatever you want.

If you don't have any parameter in the queue that will resize your plot, it should work.

It does for me (5 m length is my current record), but I'm on W2K. Don't know if this changes things.

I´m trying to plot old drawings that are 2,5m and I can see the drawing size is alright in UG both visualy and through drawing/edit. But I still get normal A0.

I'm sorry to read this. I've told you all I know (not much though). What does GTAC say?

I haven't been in contact with them due to that I don't know where the problem lies. Funny part is that plotting a0+ through catia v5 or Pro/E is no problem.

I guess it's just to dig in and find the solution :)

Problem solved

My bad, had wrong switches in the plot queue

Sorry folks
