I just went from Autocad r14 to 2004 and am leaning the new plotting environment. So far it's a real pain. Here's my question:
I have an HP Designjet 800 with a 42" roll. I can't get Acad to print using the full length of the roll. It rotates the plot (prints 'landscape, I guess). This ends up wasting a lot of paper and time. Under plotting profile, 'autorotate' and 'inked area' are selected.
Would putting in a custom paper size of 42x30 rather than the default 30x42 help? So far the 'add' button under custom paper size has not been accessible. Don' know why.
I appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks.
