plotting nodal stresses

i think this should be an easy one for the expert users out here...

For a set of nodes I want to plot a graph in femap for the nodal stresses (say Sx for example) against the x-coordinate of these selected nodes. No matter what I do femap only gives me the option to do it with elements meaning element stresses vs element centriodal positions. Is there a way I can force femap to use nodal data??

My results are from nastran where I have requested nodal stresses using corner option.

Hello!,
Basically, you need to convert elemental stress results to nodal stress results. This is done automatically by FEMAP when you generate a contour plot.
Fortunately, new versions of FEMAP already perform the conversion of elemental-to-nodal when generating an X-Y plot of stress along an edge.
