In keeping in line with thread559-80373, I think reporting a bug or problem needs to go to the VAR and SW support and putting it here at least lets us know if known and reported. So here's one we identified recently and got a work around from SW support (thanks Jeff!) with SW2004 SP1.0 crashing repeatably when attempting to plot wireframe images :

- Open an individual part file from an assembly
- Click on HIDDEN LINES REMOVED to just show the outline of the part
- Do a print preview and then click PRINT and I get the dialog box to select my printer.
- I select the local printer and I get the dialog box that it is spooling for about 15 seconds then it and SolidWorks disappears and I get the error message that SolidWorks has terminated due to an unhandled error.

RESPONSE FROM SOLIDWORKS SUPPORT :
--------------------------------------------
With regards to the printing issue, I can reproduce that one here. The file you sent, along with the description, allow me to verify a problem printing HLR part documents with any part on any printer. The problem exists in SW2004 SP0 and SP1. In testing the same issue in an advanced version of SP2, the problem is no longer reproducible. In other words, this issue will be corrected in SP2 of SW2004. Since SP2 is still several weeks away, there is a work-around if you need to print parts in Hidden Lines Removed (HLR). You can turn on the Draft quality view setting. You can find it under the View menu in the Display fly-out. Note, you may have to click customize on that menu to make the option available if you do not see it. Draft quality uses a separate display algorithm which is generally preferable for its performance in 3d space. It also happens to be the work-around for this printing problem. The setting is stored with the file and can also be pre-set in a template.

Hope this helps.....
