Plumbing Code P-Trap 1

Hello friends,
I never faced this situation and I need your advice ............
I am working on a project in Saudi Arabia.
The design shows about 20-Toilets in a row sitting on a 7-ft slab. These are eastern toilets (Squat Type) with no integral P-trap.
P-traps have to be installed for each individual toilets below the slab which means p-trap will be 8-ft below the fixture.
Question ........... Is it allowed by International Plumbing Code? If not, what can be done?
P-traps if installed 8-ft below the fixture may not comply with the code but do you think, the system will work?

There is a specific plumbing forum under the engineering forums by industry section where you might get a more informed response. This forum is normally for pipelines and pressure piping for hydrocarbons and chemicals.

Is this slab 7 feet thick??

You should have a trap right under the slab not 8-ft down. 8-ft down would not meet the requirement. Codes have a vertical requirement that will not allow the 8-ft drop.

The requirement is 24" which is meant to hinder formation of objectionable odors above the trap seal.

But it is common in the IPC world to allow for some latitude in this requirement, I doubt 7'-0" would be allowed.

Could a small trench be boxed out of the slab under the fixtures to allow the p-traps to be installed at a more normal depth?

Or, you can offset the traps by at most 30" horizontally and the above mentioned trench could be located in a chase space.
