Hi

We want to start the PM of cables and cable trays at our plant. We will check the following items in the course

1. Physical inspection of cables and cable trays.
2. Look for sharp edges along the bents of cable tray.
3. Check the ground connection integrity.

Can you please identify some more things that should be checked during this activity.

Thanks

2)Check trays for loose supports and are supported in accordance with NECA/NEMA 105 and Section [16190] [16070] Supporting Devices.

Cables:
1)Inspect cable for physical damage and proper connection.
2)Remove exposed abandoned wire and cable, including abandoned wire and cable above accessible ceiling finishes. Patch surfaces where removed cables pass through building finishes.
