PMI Advantages?

Hello. I've been assigned to investigate the benefits of the PMI and if it's worth purchasing. What exactly can PMI do that cannot be done in the 3D environment in Drafting? From what I see I can apply notes, centerlines, GD&T, dimensions all with Drafting. What is it that PMI offers above and beyond the Drafting application?

Mostly, it makes your suppliers have to create the drawings instead of your designers/engineers.

I make quick isometric tool shop drawings with PMI.

Easily understandable, as opposed to a full set of prints which might be open to interpretation.

I don't need to be a "draftsperson" to communicate what I want built.
