PMI back to Drawing

We have switched a supplier who wants a conventional drawing when previously, the was a part defined with PMI.

Is there a simple way (utility ect) whereby I can generate a drawing from a model containing PMI?

I don’t expect to get a fully finished drawing in one go, but if I can get the data (PMI Instances, notes ect) into the specification and then manually clean it up, I’m hoping it will be quicker than to start from scratch.

Any tips / tricks to make this as quick and simple as possible would be appreciated. The component is medium complexity (I know that depends on your view point) but traditional methods would define the component as approximately 10 sheets of A0 for a machined all over component.

Using Tc10.6 & NX10 with the master model process.

Hi NXJockey,

While creating views, you can select "View Creation Wizard" > Inherit PMI.
Check "Inherit PMI onto drawing" and select PMI types as per your requirement.

For existing views, you can select View > Setting> PMI > PMI Type > Apply.

Some of the PMI information will get converted to drafting.
