Hi all,

I'm looking for a valve that will keep a constant pressure of a set value in the system.
The valve will be connected to an air line that acts as an exhaust to release the pressure to the atmosphere.

Some air low characteristics:
1) Pressure - 0.035 Bar (this is the pressure that the valve needs to maintain)
2) Flow rate - 5-8 L/min
3) Humidity - 90-99%
4) High salinity

I'll attach a schematic drawing of the system for better perspective.

Suggestions will be much appreciated.

Best,
SD

I think a back pressure regulator, set at 0.035 barg, is a possible solution.

What you are trying to do is usually done with a dip tube in a water bath. The pressure is set by how deep the the tube is under the surface level of the water. When the pressure exceeds the depth, the excess air simply bubbles out.

Yeah, from the search I've done this option pops up a lot, but it seems that I can't home in on the right product.
So if you have any brand suggestions, that might help.

This is exactly the solution we implemented on the alpha prototype, but it takes up a lot of volume and we need to rexuce the form factor.

35 mbar is quite low. Try looking at tank breather valves, they operate in this sort of range.
