point from autoCAD LT to excel

How do I get points in x,y format from auto cad lt into an excel spreadsheet, I have seen several treads on this group of how to go about it using layers and the list function. This is time consuming when it comes to doing hundreds of points! Also there are methods of using autolisp or a n other programming language, which seems daunting having not used it before, however on another forum page it states that autolisp cannot be used with autoCAD lt! Can anyone point me in the right direction to solve this problem? The simpler the better!

IMHO only with a lisp.
