Point Move to Error

hey everyone , i have a surface that i want to correct. So the only way is to move the point to some location in space which corrects the surface. But unfortunately when i try this option Modify>move to > point to location , i am unable to move the point. Instead i get this message on the message box, " could not move point as specified" . can some one help me with this . thanks in advance

Hello!,
Use the MESHING TOOLBOX and use command PROJECT/MOVE POINT : first select the point at the target location, and next select the source point you want to move
