I have points along a perimeter. I am trying to figure out a way of scripting using command line commands, a way of drawing a line from each point. For example
_line (from point1 L, H ) to 5mm below point1 L,H.

The points are originally created using the marklengths command, so I do not have previous knowledge of their individual X,Y co ordinates.

Is there any way of recalling the X,Y for each point produced using marklengths.

The objective is not to have to manually click on each point to draw the 5mm line, rather script in some way.

Thank You.

I know that you asked this a while ago, and maybe found an answer in the meantime, but I just found a solution. On the command line, you can type GETXY or you can use a button on the Inquiry toolbar. How you can incorporate this info into a script is beyond my knowledge, but I'd guess that you would have to issue this command multiple times. Sylvia
