*POL

Hello,

I have an 'old' V4 file with *POL (Polyhedron) in it. Does anyone knows how I can turn that into any geometry in V5 ?

I was given the same thing lately. Vendor designed assy in v5, converted it to v4, then gave to me. Whole file was nothing but *POL. I tried everything to convert it to something useful. No luck.

Can you export from v4 into igs and import then in v5? Maybe its a stupid question but I didn't have the occasion to see something like this, so don't shoot me for this . I know you will lose a lot but its better than nothing (or it doesn't work?)
