I am responsible for the software for a light pole fabricator. I am also responsible for designing the poles. We are currently using a program that, while it's very expensive, it gets the job done.
It allows me to design to Commercial, NESC, UBC, IBC, FBC, CBC, AASHTO 1994, and AASHTO 2002. I've never had a problem with getting my designs approved and sealed but I was wondering if there are any other programs out there that can do pole design with similar options that may be a little less expensive.
