Gentlemens,
Does anyone know if coated pipe over piece of wood is an accepted method of storage?
Thanks in advance.
Manuel.

Wood dunnage has been used to store PE coated pipe. Sometimes coating damage has been incurred due to duration of storage, temperature of storage, and type of PE coating (tape wrap, extruded low/medium density PE, HDPE etc. You need to be more specific withregard to your PE coating and storage conditions.

My pipes are coated with factory applied adhesive undercoat and continually extruded polyethylene coating conforming to NACE RP0185, type A, with a minimum thickness of 762 micrometers.

Thank you.
