While searching for options to mechanically polish polypropylene I came across a product offered by McMaster-Carr that was mostly made of Trans-Dichloroethylene
1,2-Dichloroethene
I thought I would register here to mention the product as the OP of the linked thread was seeking such a chemical. Not sure if it would work in their application or if the information is too late but it might help someone down the line. It is implied that it will work on a range of 3D printed plastic parts.
