Can anyone provide information on the performance of cured polyester resin in contaminated soil and/or groundwater. I am a civil engineer investigating a cured-in-place lined sewer in a nasty area. What kinds of compounds and concentrations should I be concerned about?

I think that the Corrosion Intitute in Stockholm Sweden specialises in that type of question. You might contact them. Here is a link to their English homepage.

You have to take into consideration acids & basic elements,

resin resistence dependes very much on the type of polyester resin, the manufacturer must give you that information, anyway up to 5% of acid is ok. you have to be careful specially with elements such as So4h2
