I am looking for a training course for polymer engineering. I looked at Umass Lowell but could not find anything dirctly related to blending/compounding. I would like to find a class that focuses on additives in polymers specifically engineering polymers.

Hi ShamrockPAPM,

You can find such courses for example at
I have been giving courses for them for many years and can even tailor a course to your needs. I also have courses direct through my own company. You can find some information on my courses here:

These courses are very practical and receive very high ratings from attendees. You can learn all about plastics, fillers, antioxidants, impact modifiers, nano composites and more.

RTP is a rockstar compounder that does a free training/sales pitch thing every year.

I attended the one in Westford, MA a few months back and found it pretty informative.

It is by no means a deep dive, but if your local to Boston and have a day to spare, it's definitely worth the go.
