Pond percolation in HydroCAD 1

How is it accomplished? I need to show that the retention pond is back to "normal" (dry in this case) within 72 hrs. I know the permeability of the soil.

I have been using PONDS, but would like to use HydroCAD instead, due to the ease of use....

This is handled as an "Exfiltration" outlet device on a pond. For details, click the Help button on the exfiltration screen.

I have tried using the exfiltration. The result I need still does not appear, what exfiltration does is add another outfall as well as 2 more lines to the hydrograph. I do not need a "speed" of percolation line on the hydrograph, I need output that indicates when the pond is restored to pre-storm condition (a dry pond would be dry and a wet pond would be at the pre-storm water elevation). The water management districts in this part of the country require this output.

I like the ease of use of the HydroCAD but I need this output to pacify the stormwater folks.

Just right-click the pond hydrograph and select the "Elevation" curve. The hydrograph table also shows the elevation.

Got an email from psmart with the directions on how to turn the feature on.

Thanks again!
