Hello,
This goes hand and hand with another post I just submitted. Normally a Hydrocad user for years but I modelling an existing pond / lagoon using Pondpack. The pond has a simple culvert outlet with no outlet structure. Its a simple Catchment to Pond to Outlet model, cant be easier. Getting all kinds of errors however. Can you model an existing pond using PondPak? If there is just a culvert outfall do you have to model it as an outlet sturcure still? THe model keeps asking for pre-development data in order to analyze it, can you get around that to just analyze and exiting pond? Cant beleive its this hard to do the simpliest model possible.

Hmmm, I have used pondpack a few times and never had to create a predevelopment condition. I just modeled my basin. What version of PondPack? Check your settings to make sure that you do not have something triggered. If you cant get around the predevelopment thing make this your predevelopment model.

Pondpack is the worst isn't it? Why don't you post the error here. Or why don't you just do this analysis in HydroCAD!

There is no reason you can't model the existing basin with a simple culver outlet, I just opened some old files where I had done this.

Thanks guys. I agree with your Pondpack / Hydrocad statement. Why you would ever use pondpack over Hydrocad is beyond me. Just modeled it in Hydrocad in 15mins and worked perfectly. Pondpack is awful.
