I have an assembly with a large circular barrel shape. On my Wildfire screen, the end looks like a polygon, with lots of straight edges. With render, I thought that it would appear round, but unfortunately, it looks the same. Is there anything I can do?

Of course you can improove the rendering and edge quality quality.

I don't have Wildfire, but in ProE 2001 is in VIEW -> Model Display and then from the Shade tab change quality to 10. You can set the edges (Edges TAB) to very high, too. But you will increase the rendering time.

I found the answer to my own question, and thought I would pass it on. You pick View, Display Settings, Model Display which brings up a pop-up. On that you pick Edge/Line and then on Edge Quality you pick Very High. Then you check all the options underneath.

Did you read my post above?
