Hi. I have to incorporate a porous plastic sparger (made of UHMWPE) in a 'plastic' bag, with an LDPE film. I think some of the designs possible are an o-ring around the porous membrane, which is then welded to the ldpe film, or a nozzle pipe, with around that the membrane to release the air. I was just wondering if there were any other types, and what tips people have for design and placement of the sparger, and which is best.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Cheers

McMaster-Carr sells plastic air mufflers with pipe threaded terminations. They are cheap enough to be disposable, and very effective spargers. They appear to be made of PE.
