Is it possible to reposition an imported feature relative to a previously created part in Solidworks? The standard postion is rotated 15 deg. from where I need it.

Since it's imported anyhow, try the following...
[ul][li]Create a coordinate system that matches where you would like the part to be (use 2D and 3D sketches if/where needed)[/li]
[li]Export the part to parasolid. From the Save As dialog box, click Options, and select your new coordinate system as the CSYS of reference[/li]
[li]reimport the parasolid (you can either create a new part or use "Insert[→]Feature[→]Imported")[/li][/ul]

SBaugh,

Why not use the Move/Copy Command and move the body to the Origin. Seems easier to me, but that's just my Opinion.

I prefer TheTick's method too. The only advantage I know of is a cleaner looking Feature Tree.

If the imported part is in an assembly file it's easy.

Just select the part.
Select the rotate command.
Set the block that says free drag to by delta xyz.
Then rotate it 15 degrees around the axis you wish to.

But, you called it a feature instead of a part, so maybe I'm missing something, and you're not doing what I think you are.

The reason I use the method I described is because it is easier when dealing with "in-car position" designs. Always best for us when imported parts come in where expected without additional features. Minimizes the possibility of accidental changes and/or stupid questions about why/how something is moved.
