Is there any plans to have "Edit Position Dimensions" while editing an existing dimension have a preview update? It is repetative to keep editing looking for the ideal spot.

Are you asking about primitives, holes or sketched features?

For either or all of these you can create a sketch or several sketches that control the placement for your sketched feature or even other non sketch features like pads or slots and grooves.

For holes I usually use point on point constraint so I can have one sketch control the position of many holes and even their diameters from one sketch.

If you dimension the fixed or center point in your sketch using Regular Sketch dims referencing datums or edges, you will get the same result unless you subscribe to the only use Positioning Dims philosophy. I myself never really got sucked into using positioning dimensions and prefer sketch dims personally over the positioning method.
