Positioning of test coupon in plates

Hi,
I have plates mat. inox of different thicknesses and I have to cut out from them a test coupon for mechanical tests required by my client. Does ASME VIII Div.1 require a particular position for test coupon (2/3 and 1/2 from edges)? And for EN? Thanks

Do you have a copy of Section VIII Div 1, ASME Section II, Part A, SA 20 what do you think they require??????
