Dear friends,

I would like some guidelines for finding out the cfm calculation for a fan which is to mantain positive pressure (5mm water column) in a room having about 50 sqmt area. the room has one door 1.2mt x2.1mt high. The height of the room is 4.5 mt. The door will be opened about 10 times/hr. There are no windows. it isapacking room for dairy products in cups. The blower shall blw air trough an air washer having evaporative pads and filters. There would be about 6 persons working at a time, about 7 KW motor load and 0.5 KW lighting load. This room is within another building and hence no walls are exposed to the sun. The ceiling is also not exposed to ambient since there is a floor above.

The outdoor temps are as follows:
summer DBT 45 deg C and WBT 24 degC
Monsoon DBT 35degC and 28.3 degC

Theindoor conditions required are
summer DBT 32 degC/RH 65 %

Monsoon- Ventilation only
My questions are as follows:
1. Is there a quick and simple heat load calculation spreadsheet which can calculate the heatload for me and simultaneously lead me to the cfm requirement of the fan and the HP of fan motor.
2 How to mantain the positive pr. Will an extract fan be required. If so how to size it. What are the rules governing how much cfm to be exhausted.
3. How to arrive at Vol air changes/hr

Pl guide
