possibility of copper alloy spot welded with stainless steel

hello,

Is that possible to spot/fusing weld a copper alloy(any grade)with stainless steel? If not, what is the reason, welding metallurgy problem or anything also? i have made an search but i don't get a clear answer. Any suggestion will be much appreciated.

It is done with dynamite; explosion bonding (formerly Detaclad).
