Post tensioning near swimmingpool

When stressing from the edge of a RC swimming pool, are there any special considerations that should be taken into account during design?. ie. this is a post tensioning flat plate with a swimming pool located in the slab.

Yes, i would consider this an "aggressive environment" so fully encapsulated anchors are required, if UNbonded tendons are used. Refer to new ACI 423.6 Unbonded PT specifications.

Also, ensure that good drainage exists and that a good membrane is applied to the PT area.

Also, consider the restraint effects that the RC pool will have on the PT slab. The RC pool walls may provide restraint if the PT/RC junction is integral or is not correctly detailed to provide release.
