Hi guys,

Please help. I want all elements with stress higher than 150MPa to be displayed in red.

I go to View Options > PostProcessing > Contur/Criteria Levels.

In Level Mode I go to User Defined.
In Contour Palette I go to User Palette.
#of Levels I like to keep 16.
I want to keep original Max and Min thus I click on Auto Max Min.

I go to Set Levels...
I see max level is only 6 even tough I have selected 16.
Anyway I type in Level: 2
Value: 150
Click No Magenta

OK. Apply.

I stil have Magenta, I have only 6 levels, I cant see my level at 150 units on the legend. All values seems automatic.

What I'm missing?

Rgds,

Dear Wnuczko,
Go to VIEW options (press F6 key) and set the MAX Threshold (I am running the current version of FEMAP V11.2.2):

Next plot the result, if I set the maximum level at 85, then in red i will see values above 85:

Dear Blas,

And can you display you max stress value on top of the contour legend as well? See attached.

Indeed I want to color all elements above treshold to red, but I want to keep my max stress value there on top. Then it is clear what is the max, and what is above the limit I have set.

I know it is a sily question but presentation of results is important and I don't feel comfortable when Max stress is not displayed...

Best regards, M.

Solved.

For anyone interested. You go to F6>PostProcessing>Contour/Criteria Levels>3.User Defined

then Click Auto Max Min to keep those values
then Go to Set Levels and under level 2 type desired threshold.

Apply. Done!
