Hello, I'm reviewing some drawings for a building that we are doing a peer review for, and the general notes under the Post-Tensioned Concrete say that:
"The pour size shall not exceed 150 cubic yards of concrete. Based on this criteria, the general contractor shall propose a pour sequence for review by the architect and structural engineer."
Why 150 cubic yards? And why is this a PT issue instead of being in the regular Cast-In-Place Concrete notes?
The original structural engineer is a very reputable company, by the way...
Thanks.
