Powder coating and 7075 Al 1

I have read a few articles regarding negative effects that high temperature powder coating may have on heat treated aluminum. In this case I am specifically interested in 7075-T6. The application is in a bow riser, (archery handle. I am interested in possible changes in mechanical properties and also longer term fatigue resistance.
I am aware that lower temp options such as UV cure powder is available but I want to test the validity of the high temperature information. One example is that aluminum diving tanks may not be coated using this process due to failures. Any comments, experience and specifc refereneces would be appreciated!

The artificial aging temperature used to take alloy 7075 from the T4 temper to the T6 temper is 150 C. Any temperature higher than that will cause a reduction in strength. It's as simple as that.

Thanks for the reply TVP. That is my belief too, but I have not been able to find any studies with specific data I can cite. I could produce the samples to do my own study of course, but I'd prefer not have to if someone else has done the work. I don't have access to a technical library anymore. If anybody can put me onto some hard data, I'd sure appreciate it!

MMPDS and MIL-HDBK-5 have reduction in room temp strength at various time and temp for 7075-T6. The Aerospace Metals HDBK covers the T73 condition.
