Powder Venting Issue

I'm trying to design a venting mechanism for a resin/pigment mixture to a small feeder vessel. The problem is that the 'refill' is approx 200kg resin (density ~ 600kg/m3) over a 5 - 15 sec interval with no control on the flow rate. The vessel needs to vent the risidual air with minium pressure increase, with minimum pigment/powder escaping.. (currently by a filter medium which either vents too much pigment OR blinds)
Can anyone suggest a filter medium which may be of assistance? - Or a proven technique/suggestions.

Ausimat, a third of a meter cubed over 5-15 seconds is a 47-141 cubic feet per minute (cfm) vent (forgive me, I think in english units)... A four-inch vent should suffice; this would cause a vent velocity of 540 to 1,615 feet per minute, which shouldn't overpressurize the container.

What about water as a powder filtration medium? Duct the four-inch vent to a reservoir, such that the termination of the duct is below the water surface. Separately vent the reservoir using a high, four-inch pipe from the top of the tank to atmosphere.

Periodically blow down or change out the reservoir. Of course, the question remains as to how the pigment will behave in water - will it harden or cake?
