Power Efficiency

I've been reading a few articles lately on power efficiency and welding equipment. Learned that the utility company will give some substantial rebates if you switch to new machines vs. the old power suckers. Anyone heard anything more about this? Don't know if we can do a fleet change out, but thought maybe somebody has looked into this as well?
